Reports to: Group Head Performance Chemicals Group
JOB PURPOSE : To be responsible for all aspects of Product management and marketing function in co-ordination with external & internal customers
EXPECTED END RESULTS
Shape the market offerings Create differentiated products and applications for customers in each product group which may involve chemistry, application, engineering, bundling ,combination of different product groups within chemical division or any other.
Establish products with required quality parameters Product validation witnessing jointly the In-house product results & 3rd party Test certificates.
Qualify products with major project/ clients Seek Product approvals/Specification selling from BHEL, NHAI, CPWD, EIL, IRMRA, Bechtel, NTPC, NHPC & other major customers & Structural consultants
Branding of CC and Releasing advertisements Conduct Technical seminars for customers/Consultant/Govt. bodies in coordination with sales team. Design & release Advt. in civil engineering journals, magazines
Training, exhibitions and seminars on latest technologies Hold Technical Training programme as per the training calendar to sales & marketing people, Stockists & applicators. Also participate in identified Trade expos by way of seminars and exhibitions.
Promote CC brand as total construction chemical solution provider Develop & maintain rapport with leading Consultants/specifiers in the region for specification selling. Positioning as total solution provider.
Ensure sustainable growth for CC division. To implement both near term and long term marketing strategies to increase the market share.
Assist sales team with required tools Preparing & Designing all marketing tools like Product technical datasheets, launch packages, Product summary guides, Posters, Value proposition, Company brochure, Product group brochures, Detailed product CD, Product Power point presentations for internal & external customers, Method statement, applied samples etc.
Develop marketing strategies and plans Prepare marketing strategy document based on SBP
Deliver and communicate value Create a document indicating value delivered to customer for one top application of each product group.
economic signals Study the theory related to the SBP period and make an approach document on our suggested proposal for a process to capture the signals for our different product groups.

Company CC being a new entrant in construction chemical industry, there is very little awareness of this vertical in the market. By effectively utilizing Company Brand image, and offering differentiated solutions, positioning of Construction Chemical vertical can be done.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BE/M.E Civil
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: should have worked in similar job role for at least 10 years with reputed companies & have had couple of reportees under him for 4-5 years.
